Littlewick Green Cricket Club was proud to host their annual Presidents Day yesterday following a year off for obvious reasons.
This occasion is a great way of thanking all our Life and Vice Presidents who have supported our club over the season in so many ways and to celebrate the achievements of the club.
Our Chairman - Bill Green and President Ian Todd took the opportunity of thanking particularly our ground staff who rallied together to give us an outstanding pitch this year. Special thanks to Dave, James, Fred, Steve and Ollie T.
This season we were also able to install a new net facility which again was due to the hard work of the committee arranging grants and some kind donations from the VP's.
Special thanks was extended to the Coaches of our colts section. Our colts have gone from strength to strength especially over the last couple of years with many making regularly appearances in the adult teams and was the vision of our Vice President Tony Crossley who joined us yesterday with his wife Sharon.
Thanks so much to Kirk Graham, Pete Dries, Mike Duxbury, Simon Fuller and our Coach for our first ever girls squad Sue Duxbury. Your hard work and dedication to these young people is inspirational.
Finally a huge thank you to so many that made yesterday happen - especially our bar staff Dave & Paula and our Roasters Papps and Gaz.
A great day had by all with plenty of cricket being provided by our interclub teams. Great to see so many of our colts being able to join this special occasion.
